Alastair is passionate about creating digital products intersecting media, technology and fashion.
Alastair has worked with premier fashion and lifestyle brands across the globe including Vogue, H&M, Woolmark, Westfield, Nikon and Kevin Murphy.
Alastair’s close-to 10 year career has been characterised by vision and forward-thinking in creating new and groundbreaking digital products fusing content, community, commerce and consumeriences.
Alastair is currently Director of The New Pop. The New Pop creates new digital sales and marketing channels for customers’ brands and products.
In 2012 Alastair produced the Australian fashion films for the International Woolmark Prize presented by Vogue with collaborators including leading fashion designers Christopher Esber, Dion Lee and Ellery.
In 2011 Alastair created No Home to showcase independently produced fashion films by leading fashion designers in association with L’Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival. No Home was the first fashion film programme ever in Australia to showcase short film brand stories from nearly 40 collaborating fashion brands. Collaborators included Acne (SWE), Arabella Ramsay, Aurelio Costarella and Song For The Mute.
In 2006 Alastair created Melbourne Street Fashion.com to celebrate the loudest and proudest of Melbourne's street style. Melbourne Street Fashion.com was the first street style blog in Australia and one of only three worldwide when founded. Collaborators included Melbourne Spring Fashion Week and Limedrop.
